The working principle of the water pipe heating belt:
Due to this parallel structure, all self-limiting electric traces can be cut to any length in the field and connected by a two-way or three-way junction box.
In each trace wire, the number of circuits between the bus bars varies with the influence of temperature, and when the temperature around the cable cools, the conductive plastic produces a contraction of micromolecules so that the carbon particles are connected to form a circuit, and the current passes through these circuits, causing the cable to heat up.
When the temperature rises, the conductive plastic produces the expansion of micromolecules, and the carbon particles gradually separate, causing the circuit to be interrupted, the resistance to rise, and the cable will automatically reduce the power output.
When the temperature becomes cold, the plastic returns to the state of micromolecular contraction, the carbon particles are connected accordingly to form a circuit, and the heat trace heating power automatically rises.
Self-limiting heat tracing has the benefit that other heat tracing devices do not have, it controls the temperature not too high or too low, because the temperature is automatically adjusted.
